The answer

This page lists every correction made on milkatlas, newest first, with the page, the date and what changed. A correction is logged whenever a published fact changes; a fix to spelling or layout is not. The same entry appears at the bottom of the page it belongs to, and the page's modified date moves only when an entry is added here.

Entries dated before 8 October 2026 were made while the site was in private preview, before any of its pages was public.

  • HiPP Comfort: German vs UKThe page had said the German box prints 45 rows and the British tin 48, the three extra being chromium, molybdenum and salt. The German box prints all three as well, at the same values; this site's record of it had left them out. Both packs print the same 48 rows and every one matches, so the conclusion stands: one formula, two labels. The page now says so.
  • HiPP German ComfortThe nutrition table had left out three rows that HiPP's artwork for the box prints: salt, 0.05 g per 100 ml, chromium, 0.70 µg, and molybdenum, 2.3 µg. They are now in the table. The page had also said the UK Comfort Milk prints those three where this box does not; both print them, at the same values, and the page now says so.
  • HiPP UK Anti-Reflux MilkThe page had said this tin adds chromium, molybdenum and salt to the rows the German Anti-Reflux box prints, and that thirteen of the rows both packs print differ. The German box prints all three as well; this site's record of it had left them out. Salt and chromium carry the same values on both, and molybdenum differs, 1.5 µg here against 0.58 µg, so fourteen of the 46 rows both packs print differ. The page now says so.
  • HiPP German Anti-RefluxThe nutrition table had left out three rows that the box and HiPP's artwork both print: salt, 0.05 g per 100 ml, chromium, less than 0.60 µg, and molybdenum, 0.58 µg. They are now in the table. Every other row matches the box in the photographs added on 15 October 2026, the current print, with the 54 mg of calcium HiPP's artwork gives.
  • HiPP German Stage 3The page had said the UK Growing Up Milk has the same values as the Dutch Stage 3. The UK tin in the photographs added on 15 October 2026 differs from the Dutch tin slightly in its fats and its vitamin C, and prints folate where the Dutch tin prints folic acid. The page now says the two are close.
  • HiPP Dutch Stage 3The page had said this tin matches the UK Growing Up Milk on every row but vitamin C. That holds for HiPP UK's product page, which this site's UK record followed, but not for the UK tin in the photographs added on 15 October 2026: it prints a little less saturated fat, a little more monounsaturated fat and linoleic acid, and folate where this tin prints folic acid. The page now says the two are close without matching.
  • HiPP UK Growing Up MilkThe nutrition table had followed HiPP UK's product page, which an earlier photograph of the tin matched. The current tin, in the photographs added to this page on 15 October 2026, prints 1.2 g of saturated and 1.7 g of monounsaturated fat per 100 ml where the page gives 1.4 g and 1.5 g, and 0.38 g of linoleic acid where it gives 0.36 g. It also calls its folate row folate, at 19.2 µg, where the page gives folic acid at 11.3 µg; both give it as 15 % of the reference value. Every other row is the same. The table now follows the tin, as the page says it will when the two disagree.
  • HiPP UK Growing Up Milk ready to feedThe nutrition table had copied HiPP UK's product page, which gives fluoride as more than 0.0050 mg per 100 ml, and a note called the row odd, since every other HiPP panel gives a less-than. The label on the bottle, photographed on 2 October 2026, prints less than 0.0050 mg. The table now follows the label, and the note says so.
  • HiPP German PUR 3The page had said PUR 3 has a little less DHA per 100 ml than PUR 2. That followed HiPP's artwork for PUR 2, which prints 14.0 mg; the PUR 2 box photographed on 2 October 2026 prints 13.6 mg, the same as PUR 3. The answer now says the two have the same DHA, and that PUR 3 has a little less energy and fat.
  • HiPP German PUR 2The page had taken every value from HiPP's published artwork for this box (version 1, September 2025), which prints 2.5 g of monounsaturated fat and 14.0 mg of DHA per 100 ml. The box photographed on 2 October 2026, which lacks the NEU badge the artwork carries, prints 2.4 g and 13.6 mg, and every other value is the same on both. The page now follows the box, as it says it will when the two disagree, and the per 100 kcal column with it.
  • HiPP stage finderThe finder had given the same formula labelled from birth for any baby under a year, and named no formula from twelve months. It now also asks whether you want cow's or goat's milk, and treats goat's milk as a preference, never an answer to allergy. From six months it lists the Stage 2 milks beside the answer, since moving on is optional. With allergies in the family it lists the HA formulas sold where you buy as the ones to ask your pediatrician about, and picks none of them. From twelve months it still recommends no formula, and now lists the toddler milks for a parent who chooses one anyway. The rules behind each answer, with their sources, are on the page.
  • Does HiPP ship to Canada? And which version arrivesThe page had said the partner retailer charges Canadian orders in US dollars, having no Canadian storefront. It now prices Canada in Canadian dollars, so the three sellers that ship to Canada quote the same currency and compare directly. The page now says so.
  • Where to buy HiPP formula in CanadaThe page had said the partner retailer has no Canadian storefront and charges Canadian orders in US dollars. With Canada chosen in its country selector it now prices every pack in Canadian dollars and charges the order in them, so all three sellers on this page quote Canadian dollars, and the sellers table shows its price in them. Only its shipping charges are still set in US dollars. The page now says so.
  • HiPP storage, expiry dates and batch codesThe page had called the British growing-up bottle the tenth of the liquid packs, beside a count saying ten of the eleven keep 24 hours once opened. It is the eleventh, the one exception, and the page now says so without counting.
  • HiPP ready to feed vs powderThe page had said nine of the ten values this site records match between the German Stage 1 bottle and box, with lactose the only one that moves. With the full panels recorded, 34 of the 42 rows both labels print match: lactose moves with the starch, and L-carnitine, potassium, vitamin B2, inositol and the split of the fats differ as well. The page now says so.
  • HiPP German Stage 1 ready to feedThe page had said nine of the ten values this site records match the Stage 1 powder, with lactose the only one that moves, and that the PRE and Stage 1 bottles differ by a rounding step and nothing else. With the full panels recorded, 34 of the 42 rows both labels print match the powder: lactose is higher by the starch the powder carries, and L-carnitine, potassium, vitamin B2, inositol and the split of the fats differ too. Against the PRE bottle, iron and manganese differ by more than a rounding step, and since HiPP's 2026 PRE recipe so do magnesium and taurine. The page now says so.
  • HiPP water temperatureThe page had said a ready-to-feed bottle is warmed to about 40 °C if it is warmed at all, from the German PRE bottle's label. That bottle's 2026 print allows a room-temperature feed, or warming in a water bath to about 37 °C, and the page now says so.
  • HiPP UK Growing Up Milk ready to feedThe preparation note had told you to warm the feed to about 40 °C. HiPP UK says it may be given at room temperature or warmed, as the panel on this page shows, and the note now says so.
  • HiPP UK Follow On Milk ready to feedThe preparation note had told you to warm the feed to about 40 °C. HiPP UK says it may be given at room temperature or warmed, as the panel on this page shows, and the note now says so.
  • HiPP UK First Infant Milk ready to feed 470 mlThe page had said the same milk is sold in Germany as the PRE ready-to-feed bottle. HiPP changed that bottle's recipe in 2026, adding taurine and more magnesium, and the page now says the German bottle held this milk until then.
  • HiPP UK First Infant Milk ready to feed starter packThe page had said this is the same milk as HiPP's German 90 ml bottle. HiPP changed the German bottle in 2026, to article 2371-07, adding taurine and more magnesium, so the two now differ on those rows, and the page now says so.
  • HiPP UK First Infant Milk ready to feedThe page had said this bottle is the German PRE bottle under an English label, value for value, and that the German label asks you to warm the feed. HiPP changed the German bottle in 2026, to article 2227-05: it now declares more magnesium, adds taurine and a whey powder product, and allows a room-temperature feed, and the page now compares this bottle with that print. The preparation note had also told you to warm this bottle to about 40 °C, which its label does not ask; it now says room temperature or warmed, as HiPP UK does.
  • HiPP ready to feedHiPP changed the German PRE and HA PRE bottles in 2026, adding taurine and more magnesium, and the PRE bottles now allow a room-temperature feed. The page had said every German bottle says to warm the feed to about 40 °C, and that HiPP UK's First Infant Milk is the same milk as the German PRE bottle; it now says which bottles say what, and that the British bottle keeps the earlier recipe.
  • HiPP German HA PRE ready to feedHiPP changed this bottle in 2026. The new print, article 2226-05 with barcode 4062300484733, declares 6.0 mg of magnesium per 100 ml where the earlier print, 2226-04, declared 4.5 mg, adds taurine at 3.3 mg, and changes the emulsifier to citric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides. The page had also said every recorded value matches the HA PRE powder and that the 90 ml bottle is the same milk; with the full panels recorded several rows differ, and the 90 ml tray still carries the earlier print, so the page now says both. The alpha-linolenic acid row the label prints was missing from the table and is now in it.
  • HiPP German PRE ready to feedHiPP changed this bottle in 2026. The new print, article 2227-05 with barcode 4062300484672, declares 6.0 mg of magnesium per 100 ml where the earlier print, 2227-04, declared 4.5 mg, adds taurine at 3.3 mg and a whey powder product, and allows the feed at room temperature or warmed in a water bath to about 37 °C, where the earlier print said to warm it to about 40 °C. The record, the preparation panel and the page now follow the new print. The page had also said eight of ten recorded values match the PRE powder; with the full panels recorded, most rows match and several do not, and it now names them.
  • HiPP German vs UK ready to feedThe page had said the German PRE bottle and HiPP UK's First Infant Milk bottle are the same milk, with every value the same, and that only the British label allows a room-temperature feed. HiPP changed the German bottle in 2026: its new print, article 2227-05, declares 6.0 mg of magnesium per 100 ml against the British bottle's 4.5 mg, adds taurine at 3.3 mg and a whey powder product, and allows the feed at room temperature or warmed in a water bath to about 37 °C. The page now says so. A German bottle from the earlier print, 2227-04, is still the same milk as the British one.
  • HiPP in a Baby BrezzaLater the same day: the page had said the German Combiotik, HA, Comfort and Kindermilch boxes are matched by no barcode, and called them the biggest gap. They are matched. The finder carries the barcodes HiPP's current artwork prints on those boxes, and this site's records had held other numbers for them, from a seller's listings; the records now hold HiPP's. That makes 30 packs matched rather than 19, and the German HA 2 is given two settings as well. The page now also gives the other setting the finder has for a Formula Pro Advanced whose lot number starts with 11, where there is one, and no longer says the German boxes are the packs most often bought abroad, which it had no source for.
  • HiPP in a Baby BrezzaThe page had said HiPP is listed in five of Baby Brezza's territories and that seventeen of the packs this site records are matched by barcode, with the Dutch Stage 1 the one pack given two settings. A read of every territory and every barcode on record finds HiPP in 63 of the finder's 78 territories and 19 packs matched, the Dutch Stage 3 and the Dutch Junior now among them; the Dutch Stage 3 and the export Junior 3 are given two settings as well. The page had also said all three British tins are matched; the records now hold five British powders, and the Comfort and Anti-Reflux have no barcode on record to check. The figures now come from the finder's own data.
  • HiPP Stage 2The page had said nine of the Stage 2 packs are cow's milk, one goat's milk and two hydrolysed, with one bottle among them. The records hold eight cow's milk packs, two goat's milk, the German and the Dutch, and two hydrolysed, with two bottles, the German Stage 2 and the British Follow On Milk. The page now points to the milk column of its table, which is built from the records.
  • HiPP scoop converterThe page had said HiPP prints that 90 ml of water makes 100 ml of feed on all three packs on record. The records now hold the standard dilution for all 36 powders, and every one prints the same; the page now says so, with the count from the product records.
  • HiPP storage, expiry dates and batch codesThe page had said all 35 powder packs keep three weeks once opened and that nine of the ten liquid packs keep 24 hours. The British Anti-Reflux Milk and the 90 ml starter bottles, recorded since, make it all 36 powders and ten of the eleven liquids; the British growing-up bottle is still the one exception. The counts now come from the product records.
  • HiPP protein: whey, casein and hydrolysedThe page had said most HiPP packs are skimmed cow's milk with whey added. That is the commonest single base, not the majority of the range, and the page now says the commonest. Its counts of bases and packs now come from the product records.
  • What is in HiPP formulaThe page had counted 45 packs, 40 lactose only, 31 organic and 14 not, and fish on 35, and had said every toddler milk carries no organic mark. The records now hold 47: 42 lactose only, 32 organic and 15 not, and fish on 36, and the toddler milks without the mark are the four Combiotik ones. The counts now come from the product records.
  • Metafolin, iron and the vitamins on a HiPP packThe page had said all 45 records hold every vitamin row; with the British Anti-Reflux Milk and the 90 ml starter bottles it is all 47. It had also said the follow-on packs declare the same iron figure, which holds per 100 kcal and not per 100 ml, and it now says per 100 kcal.
  • HiPP, palm oil and the fat blendThe page had said 36 of 45 packs declare DHA at the floor of 20 mg per 100 kcal, all at the German PRE's figure per 100 ml, and that fish is declared on 35 packs and on none of ten liquids. The records now hold 47 packs: 41 at the floor, each at its own figure per 100 ml because their energy differs, fish on 36, and eleven liquids, none with fish. The counts now come from the product records.
  • HiPP and organic certificationThe page had said 31 of 45 packs carry an organic mark and 14 do not, and that every toddler milk is among those without one. The British Anti-Reflux Milk and the 90 ml starter bottles, recorded since, make it 32 of 47 and 15. The toddler milks without a mark are the four Combiotik ones: the German PUR Kindermilch and the British growing-up milks are organic, and the page now says so. The counts and the table now come from the product records.
  • HiPP, starch and lactoseThe page had counted 45 packs, 40 of them lactose only, and ten ready-to-feed bottles. The British Anti-Reflux Milk and the 90 ml starter bottles, recorded since, make it 47 packs, 42 lactose only and eleven bottles; the five with starch are unchanged. The counts and the table now come from the product records, so they follow them.
  • What HiPP Combiotik meansThe page had counted 45 packs, 18 of them with the fibre alone and 6 with neither ingredient, and said 18 of the 20 packs with both carry the Combiotik name. The British Anti-Reflux Milk and the 90 ml starter bottles, recorded since, make it 47 packs, 19 with the fibre alone and 7 with neither, and 19 of the 20 with both carry the name, German Comfort being the one that does not. The counts now come from the product records, so they follow them.
  • Heavy metals and testingThe page had said that no published test result exists for any HiPP product. Consumer Reports tested the HiPP Dutch Organic Stage 1 for lead, inorganic arsenic, cadmium, mercury, BPA and acrylamide in 2025 and published the result; the page now says so, with what one test of one tin can and cannot tell you.
  • HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 3The page had said the tin is labelled from twelve months. Its front says from the twelfth month, which begins at eleven months, and its notices say from the end of the eleventh month; the page and the age in its data now say so.
  • HiPP formula reviewsThe page no longer says its ratings come from verified reviews only, and two answers with no source were replaced: that specialist ranges rate lower, and that each product page lists every review.
  • HiPP Dutch Stage 1 reviewsThe page had said it keeps only reviews the seller marks as a verified purchase; it counts and quotes every review a seller publishes for the product, with a Verified buyer mark where the seller gives one. Reviews dated after the day they were read are now left out of the count, and an answer on whether the rating is good, which had no source, was removed.
  • HiPP Dutch Stage 1The EU limits for energy and galacto-oligosaccharides are now shown per 100 ml, as the regulation sets them; they had sat in the per 100 kcal column without their unit.
  • HiPP German Stage 1The per 100 kcal column is now marked as calculated, because the box prints values per 100 ml only, and the EU limits for energy and galacto-oligosaccharides are now shown per 100 ml, as the regulation sets them.
  • HiPP German PREThe per 100 kcal column is now marked as calculated, because the box prints values per 100 ml only, and the EU limits for energy and galacto-oligosaccharides are now shown per 100 ml, as the regulation sets them.
  • HiPP Bio CombiotikHiPP's HA formulas are now described as using broken-down (hydrolysed) protein, as the German packs say; they had been described as partly broken down.
  • HiPP stage finderHiPP's HA formulas are now described as using broken-down (hydrolysed) protein, as the German packs say. They had been described as using partly broken-down protein, which the packs do not say.
  • HiPP Bio CombiotikRewritten from HiPP's German, Dutch and UK range pages and the packs. The hub had described UK and Polish Combiotik versions this site has no records for (HiPP's UK formulas are sold as HiPP Organic, without Combiotic in the name), given Stage 3 as from ten or twelve months (both HiPP sites say ten), and said the UK version does not ship to Canada and that the German market prefers a thicker Stage 1, neither of which had a source. It also stated in its own words that Comfort was for babies with wind or constipation; HiPP's own description, a food for special medical purposes used under medical supervision, replaces it.
  • How to prepare HiPP formulaRewritten from HiPP's Dutch label, the CDC and the WHO guidelines. The guide had said a made-up bottle keeps for an hour at room temperature; HiPP's label says half an hour, and the CDC allows two hours from making it and one from starting the feed. Statements with no source were removed: a sodium limit for bottled water, a note on fluorosis, how much of the culture survives 70 °C, and that one feed slightly over or under the scoops will not harm a healthy baby. Links to pages that do not exist yet were removed.
  • HiPP PRE vs Stage 1Corrected the answer on PRE and the Dutch Stage 1: with the Dutch values taken from HiPP's label, the two panels match per 100 ml on every value this site records; they had been described as differing in protein, fat, vitamin D and calcium.
  • HiPP Dutch Stage 1Removed the claim that the protein is 60 % whey and 40 % casein, which HiPP does not state; the age range is now 'from birth', as printed; the preparation panel is transcribed from the tin, which says to give a bottle within half an hour, not within an hour; and the probiotic trial is cited correctly (Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, 2012, a follow-on formula from six months), beside HiPP's own 2024 trial.
  • HiPP Dutch Stage 1Nutrition per 100 ml corrected to HiPP's Dutch label: protein 1.28 g (was 1.25 g), fat 3.6 g (3.5 g), carbohydrate 7.0 g (7.3 g), lactose 6.9 g (7.3 g), vitamin D 1.5 µg (1.3 µg), calcium 51 mg (52 mg). The per 100 kcal column is now marked as calculated, because the label prints per 100 ml only.
  • HiPP Dutch Stage 1Delivery in the buy box corrected from 'ships from Germany, 5 to 9 days' to the partner retailer's own terms: from its warehouses in Europe, 1 to 6 business days.
  • Where to buy HiPP formula in the United StatesShipping, duty and returns now come from each seller's own policy. The page had said orders through milkatlas buy buttons are shipped duty paid; the partner retailer's policy puts any import tax on the buyer. It had also given every seller a five-to-nine-day delivery from Germany; each seller's own window and country of dispatch now come from its policy.

Questions parents ask

What counts as a correction?

A change to a published fact: a number, a date, a status, a claim. Typos, layout and wording that does not change meaning are not logged.

Why log a weekly check with no change?

So a reader of the recall page can see it was looked at. The check moves the page's checked date, not its modified date.

How do I report one?

Through the contact page, with the page address and the source that shows the error.
