What funds this site
We are parents, not a shop, and we sell nothing: the site costs money to keep checked, so we have affiliate relationships with sites that sell HiPP, and a buy button here hands your order to our partner retailer, Organic Life Start, which sells and ships it and pays us a share.
Where our partner does not sell a product, we list the other sellers we track, and some of them pay us a referral fee when you buy; those links are marked.
Nobody pays for a page, a placement or a rating, no seller sees a page before it is published, and the page reads the same whether you buy or not.
What does each kind of link earn?
| Where the link goes | What we earn | How it is marked |
|---|---|---|
| Buy module | A share of the sale from Organic Life Start, the partner retailer that sells and ships it | The buy module names Organic Life Start as the retailer that fulfils the order |
| Sellers table, affiliate seller | A referral fee on purchase | "affiliate" tag beside the seller |
| Sellers table, other seller | Nothing | No tag |
| Subscribe & Save link | A referral fee | "affiliate" tag |
| Manufacturer, agency and study links | Nothing | No tag |
Who sells and ships the orders?
Organic Life Start, an importer of European formula that we have an affiliate relationship with. It is named in the buy module, at checkout and in your confirmation, and if it changes, this page will say so. It sells the formula, takes the payment, ships the order and pays milkatlas a share of the sale; milkatlas is not the seller and handles no money. It does not write, edit or approve any page, and it appears in the sellers tables on the same terms as sellers that pay us nothing.
milkatlas and Organic Life Start share ownership. That is a material connection, not an arm's length arrangement, and it is why the buy buttons on this site hand the order to that retailer rather than to any other. It changes nothing about how a page is written: the evidence notes, the grades and the sources are the same whoever sells the tin.
Questions parents ask
Does the price change if I buy through you?
No. The price in the buy module is the seller's price; our share comes out of it, not on top.
Do you rank sellers by who pays?
No. Sellers tables are in price order on the date observed, with the affiliate tag where it applies.
Why carry buy buttons at all?
Because a reference that costs money to maintain needs an income, and naming the retailer that sells and ships, and what it pays us, is more honest than pretending the links are neutral.
Does HiPP pay you?
No. HiPP has no relationship with this site.
Can I read the pages without seeing a seller link?
Every guide and comparison works without buying anything. The links are there when you want them and marked when they pay us.
