The answer

milkatlas publishes pages that answer the question first, grade the evidence behind each claim, name their sources, and are written by named parents with AI assistance and reviewed by a named OB-GYN where the topic is health. It never fakes a date, hides text from readers, pads a page to a word count, or lets a seller change a word. When a fact changes, the page changes and the change is logged. These rules are checked by software on every build and by people before every publish.

What are the rules?

01The answer comes first.Every page opens with a 60 to 90 word answer a reader could take away alone, then the key facts, then the detail.
02Every claim carries its evidence.A marked note states the grade: regulation, trial with the study named, manufacturer claim, preclinical, or no evidence found.
03Sources are named and linked.Regulation articles, product pages with a fetched date, studies with journal, year and sample size. Never "studies show".
04One opinion per page, about a product. It is marked "Our view". It is never about a health outcome.
05Dates are true.A modified date moves only when the substance changed, and a correction is logged when it does.
06Numbers come from data.Prices, scoop weights, nutrition and dates are rendered from product records, not typed.
07Nothing is hidden. No hidden text, no instructions to AI assistants in the HTML, no content behind an email except personal tools.
08Sellers do not edit. The retailers we have affiliate relationships with pay us. None of them sees a page before publication or can change a word. The page is the same whether you buy or not.
09Reviews are gathered, not written.Every review is one a seller published for that product, shown with the seller it came from, a link back, and a Verified buyer mark where the seller gives one. We add none, remove only what names a child or is abusive, and log every removal.
10AI assists; people are responsible.Drafts are written with an AI assistant against a fact pack and say so. An author signs every page; the reviewer signs the health pages.

Questions parents ask

Do you accept guest posts or sponsored content?

No.

Do you use affiliate links?

Yes, and every page with one carries the disclosure line near the top. The disclosure page has the detail.

How do I request a correction?

Through the contact page. Every correction we make is logged on the corrections page with its date and what changed.

Why does the site not claim to be free of commercial interest?

Because it sells the products it writes about. That claim would be misleading, so the site does not make it.

Do you write about other brands?

Only where a comparison needs one. The site is a reference on HiPP, not a best-of.
